Before and After Your Appointment
- No exercise the day before, the day of, or the day after
- Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before and after
- Do not lie down or bend over for 4 hours after injection
- Do not touch or rub the injection areas
- Wear sunscreen and no tight fitting hats for 24 hours
- No hot shower and avoid make-up for 24 hours
Precautions
- If you're taking aspirin products (aspirin, Naproxen, Advil, Ibuprofen, Motrin, and the like) or blood thinners, you run the risk of more bruising. Stop using these 7 days prior to injection and resume the day after
- You may still have the service but must be advised about increased sensitivity and a greater chance of bruising
Contraindications for Neurotoxins
- If you have a hypersensitivity to Botox or Xeomin, or other toxins, this is not a good treatment option for you
- Talk to us about other options
- If you're prone to cold sores, let us know in advance so we can prescribe medication before your treatment

Before and After Your Appointment
- No blood thinners 7 days prior
- No cardio exercises that day before, the day of, and the day after
- No alcohol 72 hours prior to appointment
- No direct pressure on face for two weeks post-appointment
- No oral surgery or dental work for two weeks
Precautions
- If you are taking aspirin products or blood thinners, you have an increased risk of bruising
- Service is still available in this situation, but you should be aware of increased sensitivity
- You may also have a higher chance of a reaction
Contraindications for Dermal Fillers
If you have the following conditions, you are not a customer for this service:
- Lidocaine allergy
- Upcoming oral work or surgery
- Active cold sores or rash
- Swelling of the face or lips
- You may risk bruising for the next week or two
- If you are feeling sick, please reschedule your appointment
